Joana is a lazy girl. Lazy spelled with a capital "L".

Realised that I'd kinda lost the momentum to blog. Whoops. Yeah.

Just came back not too long ago from Mr Tan Pei Nam's house. Went there after work together with Jia Min, Ben and Des. Mahjong session. I'm still grasping the basics of the game though. I still have question mark bubbles popping out from my head. Haha.

Work today (or rather YESTERDAY) was gooodd! I get to work with Jia Min! Wahaha. Yippee dooda. And we slacked like mad. 1 hour tea break. Actually, we aren't supposed to have any breaktime because we are only working for 4 hours. But because we're on our own after the 1st hour. *Cheerscheers*

Argh. Friday was the last day at BPOS. Am gonna miss that place sooooo much. A gazillion times more than ELDC; truthfully speaking that is. Made many nice clicks at BPOS. Pei Nam, Richard, Justin, Ying Hui, Hui Xian, Des, Ben and more. I would never forget the memorable SLACKING TIMES - Sneaking out of school. Haha. KBox, KPool, Pooling at Yio Chu Kang Grassroots Club, towning, meals at AMK Central.. Really miss them man. Awwww.

For the pictures of us slacking at BPOS, please refer to Jia Min's blog. Kthanks =)

ZzzZzz. Will update more if I can. Good night Earth.

Woke up super duper late yesterday morning. In short, I overslept. Like, duh. Woke up at 7.49am. I was still feeling blurry and in a subconscious state of mind when my maid came to wake me up..

Then, I said to her, "Tusiyem (Her name)! Why you never call me??!!"

Tusiyem: "I call you so many times already. You still sleeping."

Me: "Why I never hear you?"

Tusiyem: "You wake up then cover blanket and go back to sleep again."

Me: "Next time call louder. And use your hand to beat me."
Urgh. And I just hailed a cab and rushed to school.

Rahh. Everyone's so not in the mood to do stuffs these couple of days.

I'm being posted to CRMCC 1, which is located at the ground floor in NYP SBM. It's beside the The Travel Connect. I have Yong Quan and Geoffrey as my groupmates. Funny nuts. Aww. Jia Min, I'm in the same centre as you, BUT WHY MUST YOU BE POSTED TO TRADEWINDS?! SCREW THAT TEACHER. Won't get to see you for 8 weeks in school. Will go and find you at Raffles City. *hugss*

I haven't finish my reports!!! Deadline is next Monday, but it's better to hand it in by tomorrow.

The temperature is freezing below zero degrees celsius here in BPOS. The sunny weather didn't help much. My hands are icy. Brrr.

Tomorrow's the last day in BPOS. In this stopover, I'm really happy to make many new friends, and meet new faces. It's been really fun and memorable - KBox, KPool, movies at Cathay, meals at AMK Central.. blah blah. Just the usual slacking times. And the "Number Guessing" game. But, we're all posted into different places. Though Ben, Des, Jia Min and I are in CRM, we're in different places. Miss ya all. Fret not, we'll still meet up! =) Oh, and there's the funny and humorous Richard, 'Vietnam-like' straightforward Pei Nam. AND WARCRAFT. Haha.

Will post more later. I can't stand it. It's too cold.

The mosquito is irritating me. It bit my legs and urgh. GET LOST YOU STUPID PEST! *bummer*

**This is gonna be a long entry.

And whoa man. I'm not exaggerating or somethin', but I find myself standing beside death while I was on my way home just now. Due to my blur and careless nature. And some factors, maybe. Okay. So I alighted at my station, and walked the usual route home. There's this sorta T-junction where I will always and definitely will go through when I'm on my way home from the MRT station. I had to cross this T-junction. Then, a big lorry/truck came and it was waiting for the road to clear before making a turn towards the right. And I was standing at the pavement, awaiting my turn to cross the road. I kept looking at my left, and TOTALLY FORGOT about looking at the right. Then, I crossed. After the truck drove off.

Suddenly, I do not know why, my head turned right. And I saw a maroon Toyota Corolla driving towards me - just a mere 10cm away from me. THANK GOD IT STOPPED. Otherwise, I wouldn't have imagined the worst. My first reaction was to dash across the road as fast as I could. At that point of time, I just felt weak, and I just walked home at top speed. Really, I was so scared. Shocked. Not traumatised, but I don't know what got into me. Amen.

Saturday
Was out with Desmond. I thought Ben was also going in the first place. Jia Min couldn't make it because of some reasons. But then, Ben was meeting his friend. So it's just left with Des and me. Went to town, and then Marina Square. I bought the Disney tee from Giordano Junior. And Cleo. That's all.

Sunday
Went to work at Funan the IT Mall from 1pm to 5pm. Loveeee the crowd (or rather, there's no crowd!) there. It's wayyyy better than Sim Lim Square. There were occasional disturbances from some of the shop assistants, but other than that all was fine. =) Elizabeth (the girl whom I was working with) and I walked and walked.. and we discovered this comic book store. Aha. Cool. Some comics were selling for just 60 cents! Superdeedooper cheap, eh? Bought the Powerpuff Girls one because they are just so adorable. ;)

Met Alan after work. He asked me out because he was feeling rather low because of some personal stuffs.. (Maybe it isn't very convenient to state it here...) So we had dinner at Suntec, and walked to The Esplanade. Just in time for the fireworks, but awww. Managed to catch prolly just the last part of it. And the fireworks were blocked by the TREES. Haha.

Hmm. Nothin' much. Just talked. And then it was home.

Monday
'Twas just a plain old school day.

Erhm. Just wondering which Call Centre will I be stationed at. Feeling mixed, lah. Apprehensive. Wouldn't wanna be alone.

Found this pic in one of my friend's friend's blog. It caught my eye immediately and, I just laughed when I saw it.

I reckon that most of our female counterparts would love this all new accessory. For an obvious reason.

TA-DA!

Voila! New blogskin again. I really like this one. Especially the picture of the fairy. Really sweet. And the whole color combi's great. =) A refreshing change from my previous dark colored blogskins. I always voted for black/dark colored ones, and finally I decided I needed a change.

Yesterday's entry was rather lengthy, a far cry (kind of) from my usual normal snappy ones. Just thought of pouring whatever that's inside my mind..

Oh. And I got my next stopover results already. Argh. I got into CRMCC (Customer Relationship Management Call Centre)!!! I'd rather be posted to other places rather than here. But I was mentally prepared for it lah. Kinda expected to get into CRM anyway. Its intake is so large. So I wouldn't be surprised if I got in there. On a lighter note, Jia Min, Ben, Des & Val got into the same stopover as me! Haha. We can't slack anymore, eh. No more KBox, KPool, swimming, gym, AMK Central, town or whatsoever already. -shrugs-

Never mind. On the positive side, I would like to see whether CRM is really as bad as what the people there describe it to be. Is it really that hellish? Urm. I know nuts about it. Except that you really got to get into the teachers' good books and suck up to them to get good grades. But it's so fake. Currying the teachers' favor and sucking up to them? Bah. It just sounds so... whatever-I-can-think-of. Corny.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed. And hope that things aren't as bad as it was described to be. But I hate to wear that navy colored polo tee. Like 'Eww'. (Quote from Willy Wonka).

Awww.And. Time passes really reeeaaallly FAST. Like a speed-o-machine. In a millisecond, let me call it 'milli-day', it's FRIDAY. Yeah. I love Fridays, 'cause it marks the start of the weekends. But this time round, it's different. It's coming to the end of my block leave. =/ It's back to school next week again! And I won't be able to have any hols/breaks/vacations in the next 6 months (approximately) ??!! Aww man. I don't wanna think about it. Much less talk about it.Like whatever now. School's like that. Life's like that. School's fun with my mates around, but school ain't fun when you have to drag yourself to school early in the morning. And thinking that you won't be back home till it's like 7pm. And from 7pm, the clock seem to speed up and the next moment, it's bedtime. And the whole thing just repeats.

Life's pretty much of a bore if we don't 'utilise' it well. Did I use the correct word? Maybe. It's routinal. But perhaps it'll be interesting, if those routinal activities can be spiced up a lil'.

Bawled my eyes out yesterday night and I woke up to a pair of swollen goldfish-like eyes. Don't ask me why because you shouldn't. Erhm, was thinking of switching to Xanga. Any comments? I thought the Xanga templates look good too. I mean, yeah. And it provides a WHOLE LOT OF SPACE, FOR YOU TO DISPLAY PICTURES. Most of the Blogger templates (read: Blogskins) doesn't. I think the templates have eat some shrinking pill or something. The writing space so tiny! Xanga sounds good. But is it user-friendly?

snow fairy at 1:29 PM

Okay, so I almost forgot to update about Wednesday too. Though I'd posted entries for that day. Well, headed to school at around 10 plus in the morning to meet Jia Min, May(she joined us in the afternoon), Shuang, and Yong Quan. We had to do our individual MMD project due on the 29th August. Yeap. Using Macromedia Flash 5. I'm so not used to it because I'm used to Macromedia Flash MX. So, Flash 5 was kinda 'lok kok'. But no choice lah, the project required us to use Flash 5 and not otherwise.

Went to watch watch 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' with PW yesterday. (Yeah, it's past 12midnite now.) Um... I would give it 3.5 popcorns. It wasn't really as good as I'd expected though. The oompa loompas are kinda irritating in my own opinion. And all of them looked alike. And they kinda resemble somebody... Mr Nathan. (Shann, saw that post of yours and I really agree!) I won't quote on who exactly Mr Nathan is, but it's rather obvious I don't see the need to spell it out. The ruler of Singapore, that is.

Headed to Bugis after the movie, and I bought quite some stuffs. Not again, I know. Haha. But I couldn't resist. I got a black cardigan, handphone accessory, earrings (AGAIN!!! My fetish lah), bracelet, and a ring. Yeah. Teehees. No more impulsive buys till I get my pay!!! Did I just say impulsive? Er, no. I shouldn't buy things on impulse. That's very bad. Tsk.

Aww. And, Derrick was eliminated from Project Superstar. His performance isn't very good that night, but it isn't very bad either. He's an eye candy, I must say. Many fans, females, in particular; swoon over him..and go ga-ga like head over heels. No doubt he's cute. But I feel that he should be recognised for his talent and skills rather than his appearance first. Yes, it'll be a bonus if you're blessed with good looks. As for Wei Lian, he did a really great job. Especially the 2nd song that he sang. My jaws dropped. Not literally, but oh boy can he really sing! Sad to say, he's visually impaired. I'm not saying that he can't be a superstar despite his disablity, but most people harbor that mindset that it isn't quite right for a visually impaired guy to be an idol or superstar.

Just voicing out my opinions about the performance. Hitting the sack now, off to bed! Good night!

**P.S Shuang, here's wishing you a speedy recovery! *hugs*

As promised, I'll be updating you peeps about the events that happened during the past 2 days.

Monday (Eve of National Day):
Went out with Jia Min, Ben & Desmond to catch a movie in town. Wanted to watch 'Charlie & the Chocolate Factory' initially but awww it was half day for the primary, secondary& college kids so yeah - ALMOST ALL THE TICKETS FOR THE MAJORITY OF THE TIME SLOTS WERE SOLD OUT! But nevertheless, we decided on 'Wedding Crashers'. Which proved to be a ain't-that-bad-afterall choice because the movie was friggin' hilarious! All of us were laughing during three quarters of the show. I give it 4 popcorns out of 5! I would recommend this movie. Ooooh and Owen Wilson is cute! *gush* Haha. =))) (N.B But wait. Sexual content to be advised. NC-16)

Had lunch at Cafe Cartel. Yums. As usual, we played the 'Number Guessing' game (Like again?!). The forfeit was - Bread topped off with Tabasco sauce, Wasabi sauce, butter, cheese powder & chilli pepper. Uh-huh. I heard someone saying, "Wah, Tabasco!!!" It burns. Ben & I were doing the forfeit like most of the time! Feng shui problem? Haha. Whatever.

Anyway, we headed to Suntec after the movie. Jia Min met her 2 besties there. Dinner was settled at Just Noodles. Cheap and good, I must say! It's a must-patronise! All set meals go below 10 bucks! And chawanmushi was only A DOLLAR. Whoa!

After dinner, the 6 of us headed to Marina Square. Shot some pool. We saw Sebestian from Project Superstar(Channel U), and he's... short. Buuut, cute. =)))
Then, it was Esplanade. Sat down and played truth-or-dare. Hmm. Haha.

Had actually wanted to catch the fireworks display which was at midnight, but had to leave at 11plus.

Took pictures! But, please refer to Jia Min's blog for them because I can't retrieve them. (Jia Min you disabled the right-click function, so I can't 'kope' the photos!)

Tuesday (National Day)
Was part of the Celebrations@Yishun! Reached school at around 2.15pm. The bus fetched us to the open space at Yishun, next to Northpoint.

Actually, I can't really think of what to post for Tuesday. The sun was scorching in the afternoon, and we were made to were the red tees! I look like some hongbao, because the tee was too big for me. It was an medium.

When the fireworks display finally started, I was like "Wow!" Oh my God, I was standing really near to the fireworks, and my.. it was beautiful. Real beautiful. Never been so near to fireworks ever. It captivated everyone present, and the audience was watching the va-va-vooms in awe. My kid sister told me that she could see the fireworks at the Padang from our house.

I remember those days when I was an NDP participant in 2001. I was in Secondary 2 back then. I was part of the combined schools choir, and rehearsals started as early as February. Those were the days. Really memorable ones. And come June that time, we were at the National Stadium every Saturday, rehearsing under the sun. Though 'twas exhausting, but everything's worth it. Dinner each week was alternated between Pizza Hut & KFC. And dinnertime was like, 10-15minutes. And the army marshals were supplying us with bottles and bottles of water. Like 6 bottles (500ml) each time. Those days were so fun!

All for now. Till next time.

I'd just typed a post filled of stuff and I'd accidentally pressed a button (which I don't know) and everything's gone. In an instant. Urgh.

Not in a very pretty mood today though, I must say.

My to-do list:
  1. Summary Report
  2. Personal Selling Report
  3. MMD (Multimedia Development something lah)

Things are like so f*cked up now. I don't know where to start. Pardon my profanity but I'm just feeling kinda edgy and snappy now. Prolly it's pms or whatever. Or prolly it's because of the stress and pressure derived from the mountain (I'm exaggerating) of tasks that's still left undone.

Will update about the recent events that followed probably later or next time when I log in. There'll be pictures too. It's been 2 days since my last post. My short hiatus from blogging. Thing's been fulfilling enough.

Shitty. Whatever. SCOOT.

Oh wait. HAPPY NATIONAL DAY (like belated?)!!!

Sunday, August 07, 2005

I can't think of anything to blog about at the moment, but I just feel like posting an entry today.

Am gonna catch "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" tomorrow with Jia Min, Ben and Desmond. Movie day. Would be popping by school on Wednesday with Jia Min to do our MMD project. Urgh. Speaking of which, this reminds me that I have 2 reports to be completed. 'Personal Selling' and Summary report.

My cousin Alvin invited me to City Harvest Church's Anniversary celebration at the Indoor Stadium today. Couldn't make it 'cause I had to go over to my gramps this morning. And I didn't make it for the Festival of Praise yesterday either because of work. Promised Alvin that I'd pop by for next week's service most probably on Saturday. =)

Feeling so hungry all of a sudden. Off in search for food!

Good night Earth.
